Scooby Doo where are you - The untold stories

Jinkies! Looks like we've got another mystery on our hands! Scooby Doo, Where are you - The untold stories. I used to love this series and I really wanted to do a #mocktober shot for the Elegant Seagulls competition. You do the math!

The idea: Every story of a ghost or ghoul used in the series was based on the life story of an actual human being. This person was doing great in life and Hanna Barbara decided to make a cartoon villain out of it and drag his/her name through the dirt. What if Scooby and the gang actually didn't know the harm they were doing to this person and to their friends and family? In this particular case, I used the story of the Rambling Ghost.

Used ideas: I wanted to use the colors of the iconic van, the Mystery machine. I also wanted to incorporate some of the gang's catchphrases. I also added some clues and lots of details leading up to the unmasking (as they would do in the series) and creating ordered chaos (as Scoob and the gang would do as they would set up a ridiculous trap for the villain). I also did some vector stuff, retracing the Rambling Ghost and creating his freakish long arms from scratch.

Full mock coming soon! I'm really enjoying this one so far! In all seriousness though, I just found out this show celebrates it's 50th anniversary this year, feel old yet?
