several months ago i was blessed enough to have the opportunity to concept this new homepage for the Mercedes of dirt bikes, Husaberg. i was contracted through a sweet agency in Sweden to do some comps however i started with this design and we just ran with it :)
the goal here was to create a design style that looked both professional, high-class yet still have the grunge of the great outdoors. nothing does that better than lots of white and beautiful photo manipulations in my opinion.
Bikes, man, gottam love them bikes... good job. sweet animation too.
edit: I'd have really liked a different typography on the links on the bottom, the bg plus the "boldness" of the font make it hard to read. maybe it's me and my small-as-shit imac.
@raul, agreed. that's not the weight i chose. you'll noticed the actual .com has a handful of different design choices than what i did in my comp. i just handed over a PSD and they ran with it.
I love how you always say "I was blessed to...," helps me keep things in perspective when I"m getting lazy. Regardless, sick layout. I love the background effect w/ the blur, never seen anything like that before. Fonts and colors are a beat', and I'm digging the outside-the-box effects you've got going on. Crushed.

Well done. I like the way the content slides behind the rocks and ground on the live site.

Love the bike rotate functionality. Also animated gif is a nice touch to show entire layout. Can you show full pixels?
