    This is the initial volley of a Type Set Match, a fun way to spend time on Dribbble and an easy way to practice typography. Plus, swell excerpts from Contents Magazine. Find simple instructions and more about Type Set Match here: nicewebtype.com/x/75

  2. I've no idea how I ended up where I did. Heading numbers set in American Typewriter 36pt, headings in Avenir Next Condensed 36pt (with slightly looser kerning), paragraph in Georgia (same as the original article) 14pt, and attribution in 10pt Sathu.

  3. • live view: here.

    I opted to go for a note card view with this one. I wanted to add some more css effects but i had a hard time adding in some of them due to not being able to add in additional classes. This was fun, looks a lil boring but fun.

  4. Discovered TIm Brown's project and thought I would give it a try.

    Figured that something clean with a digital feel would be fitting. The headers are set in Brandon Grotesque and the body is Futura.

  5. Now that I am a Typecast app member, thought I'd give it a go properly this week. Tried for something ambient, but bold in the end settled for this.

    The headings in my current favourite font Abril Fatface and the paragraph type is set in Magneta. All in all wanted a spacious feel with a bit of an offset somewhere. Feedback appreciated.

  6. I decided to sample the style of my friend @Göran Söderström, but with a twist. Ideally hyphens: auto the small-size optimized Siri Core would be available on Typecast.
    H1{ 62px, Siri ExtraBold}
    P {19px, Siri Regular}
    Meta {12px, Siri Regular}

  9. Hey @Tim Brown

    After reading the content, I was keen to create something thoughtful. To encourage readability, I've gone for the light-hearted pairing of FF Prater Sans Web and FF Speak Web. And for some reason, I felt that adding some symbolism could strengthen the message and connection between Core, Context, Intentions (the awesome Flower Doodles font by Rae Kaiser).

    The biggest challenge I had with this rebound was getting the measure just right. In the end, I just went with what felt right to me.

    Lettuce know what you think ;)

  10. View the live Typecast version.

    For some reason the content felt ‘textbook-ish’ and educational to me, so I've tried to present it in a way that will make the key ideas easy to remember.

    I chose Omnes for its friendly clarity, but felt it had a little too much personality for the body copy. Lato slotted in nicely as a replacement for the descriptions, giving off the same vibe as Omnes but in a quieter way.

    Feedback welcome as always :)
