Beginning to add some of the features that resulted from the never-ending design process. Hoping to for this to be live soon. The plan is to roll out a handful of new features this year and then begin migrating to the new visual design in January.
You can't tell here, but each of the colors in the status bar will be clickable and take you to a list of issues for the corresponding status/milestone combination.

The bars work well, I especially like the white gaps in between. There's something not right about the "New Issue" links (presumably they're links?). I dont know whether it's just the alignment or maybe the detail on the plus symbol clashes with the simplicity of the bars.

Ben - Good call. I've been so caught up in getting working, I haven't been scrutinizing the details, and the alignment issue isn't obvious in the context of the full-page.
As for the icon, you're also right. Long-term, with the redesign, that's going to look a whole lot better. RIght now, I'm caught between bridging the current design with the future, and that plus icon is the one we're using throughout today.

Great work generally speaking, I like the direction you're going in with the navigation/toolbar and the UI in general. The iconography overall is looking clear and consitent. Cant wait to try out the new version
