Great work. Its amazing to me how such an integral part of the UI design process get so little love on dribbble.

@Michael Pons It's obviously just not shiney + glossy enough! Guess it's just not the place for things like this!
Yup! The trick is to make it look like an IOS UI and mock it up using an iphone body at a cool angle with all sorts of shininess. Only then you'll be in the game ;)
Nice process! I'd have to agree with Michael, things like this should be more noticed. It upsets me that not many people look into the foundation of the design.
I spend a lot of my time looking and preliminary sketches: concept art, game design, UI, web, or any general design -- it really gives out how the final result was made. You can learn a lot from it.
@Howard Gonzales I try and post different work, something that challenges the usual highly polished stuff. The only downside of these shots are the limits of the pixel dimensions as this kind of work really needs to place everything in context. But hey I'll keep trying. Concepts and sketches are always far more interesting to me too.
It felt like I was the only one into concept sketches. :P I look at them way more than the actual final design.
Keep it up.
Your drawings are super awesome !!
