   Knocking around ideas for the design for a personal site I'd like to knock up. Can't get the thing feeling textured enough. Seems a bit flat.

   I love the style, and the font works well. Maybe a little grain in the BG color to add some texture?

   Yeah, I was thinking that too. How do people go about making grain or textures now? It's been a while since I took a stab at that kind of thing.

   Photoshop: Filter > Distort > DIffuse Glow is one way.
