So apart from Planned Parenthood, my other major project this semester is rebranding and repackaging (mostly repackaging) Microsoft.
I'm not actually supposed to be picking colors and stuff yet but I really like this one. Type is custom modified. But it will probably get shot down by my prof.

Much prefer this to the new revamp. The old Windows symbol is archaic. Doesn't apply to Microsoft anymore as they have grown into new ventures.

Far far too smart for Microsoft. Plus they benchmarked themselves with the Metro language. They had to follow through with something in line with that.
Good work, Ricky!
Great color choices. I like it.
Interesting concept, I'm a fan
I like the colour treatment for those sub brands. Wondering what's the concept behind those shapes or curves/ straight lines combination.
Really love the main logo up top. Might be nice to see the grey carry over to the four product logos, to add some contrast. Also, it might be cool to explore tertiary colors to help differentiate from Google and Ebay who also use primary colors.
@Jolly Bureau @Dylan Cook @Ty Wilkins Thanks for the feedback I was really excited to move forward with this logo too but my professor shot it down as expected. I have to use one of my backup logos now.
Strong concepts make great designs even better. If you can sell your idea to your prof, then it can work. Remember that design is subjective and people may not like stuff you do, but if you go into it with a strong concept and great execution then they will be more apt to buy in. Great stuff on these. Nice work.
