What do you think?

Well, the lens looking bad, shadow under the box too. Keep working.
@Andrew Bushmakin за то без лесенок! :)
Just find a real lens or good reference and try to make the same at the first time. Look: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_Hlry1lOUsq0/TDr1iHDdNhI/AAAAAAAAABc/IUVHzD4ufpw/s320/camera-lenses-300x300.jpg or this one http://clearchoicecameras.com/wp-content/uploads/camera-lens%5B1%5D.jpg
@Andrew Bushmakin I just don't understand, how to draw this lights and shadows right. It is my intuition :)
I told you, use original pics and try to rebound. Make pixel to pixel if it needs.
@Andrew Bushmakin I don't like to use an original pics. Realistic things looks shitty. I like colorful things.
Well, then keep trying xD
I love how it evolved from your first shot, but I liked better the brilliant and flashy colors on the "lens".
Very stylized. You took liberties exaggerating the lighting and reflection inside the lens, the shutter is caricatured and the little orange dot is like the recording button on a video camera. All these ideas are thrown into this icon to give it characteristics of a camera icon which is very unlike a real camera or camera lens.
In my opinion, this kind of exaggeration is exactly what you should be doing while illustrating icons like this. They are representations of ideas. Keep going.
@Ilja Miskov I think @Andrew Bushmakin was meaning to use a real image as a reference for the structure of a lens and to study how light reacts to the lens. If you practice creating lenses you can always add your style, colors and other lighting effects on top of that.. But the focus just being to study how various lens are put together.
That's right, @Kevin Hamil
this one is a lot better.
А мне нравится) Иногда стиль нивелирует косяки)
Nicely crafted Ilja.
Needs more purple though ;)
I don't really like the look of the shutter, how everything else is round and the suddenly it changes up the style. Looks great overall though, and very clean! :)
I like it. This version is better! :)
