    ... concept for a wordmark for a gift shop with the main emphasis on traditional and cultural home textiles and other useful gifts and souvenirs.

    Please give me feedback regarding the overall look and feel, balance, position of the trademark symbol etc.!

    How do you do hand lettering this fine in Illustrator??

    @William Dalebout It isn’t hand lettered – I used a commercial typeface called »Liza Pro« by Underware.
    Nevertheless, for hand lettering I always use Illustrator. For my hand lettered stuff I use the tag »hand lettering«.

    very whimsical and fun @Arno Kathollnig. perhaps the tagline could be a bit more simple? maybe a sans?

    This is a beautiful logo. I really Like the way the script and serif work together so well giving it that new vintage look.

    The only thing that bothers me is how visually separated the D is from the rest of the type. Maybe if you adjust the tracking on the "useful gifts" text so that it doesn't line up with the o.

    It would be interesting to see a sans font like @Colin Tierney recommended but right now the serif works.

    I'm digging it, though it reminds me of old-timey Disney. I believe that's the unfortunate nature of the "D". Quite lovely nonetheless- wish I could see it in context of the store/site!

    The inside loop of D, now it sharp, maybe it could be oval and it would fit better the style of other letters
