   @Matt Lackey I highly recommend working with one as it will inform your vertical rhythm when you move from a PSD mock up to production CSS.

   I have my own hack-ish method of dealing with aligning to a baseline grid in Photoshop that would probably confuse the hell out of you if I tried to explain it. There is this video tutorial that is very similar to my method though.
