I guess I could do a lot with the icons, and they don't necessarily need to be the itsy bitsy stationery pieces. But this would solve scaling issues.
What ya'll think? Filled in type does stand out much better.

Really nice. Would you use them both alongside each other? So for example, the horizontal stationery pieces on larger things, and the vertical stationery pieces on smaller things?
Either way, I like both! Agreed that the type on this one is clearer.
@Callum Peters Thanks! Yeah I will look at that. Just when the icons are used as the E in the filled word it is just so easy to read the word Crate instead... hence why is was a stroke in previous shot. But will keep working on it :)
Much better if you ask me.
Seems friendly and professional at the same time.
Cool, the three icons look great together. I think it's just about the sizing of the stationary.
I love the components, but the illustration seems a tad bit large compared to the size of the type. I love the scale of the "create" to "design studio" though!
Looking so good! Looks great with filled type, but I do echo Laura on this one, perhaps that mark is just a little too large...
Liking this direction a lot more, but do agree with Laura Brady too. Love the icon idea!
Awesome! I like ver much the icons and the color palette used ;)
Nice one @Shannon Hatch What's the typeface you've used? I love it.
I really like this one! Very simple and gets to the point :)
@Laura Brady @Dave Coleman @Andrew Hicks Yeah it does look quite big here on the shot. Perhaps it could be a little smaller, it does look good on the stationery this size, and is easliry seperated from the text to creat 2 logo types which work really well with the branding together.
I will continue to adjust, thanks for the feedback!
@Kaushik V. Panchal Thanks! The word Create is in Futura Extra Bold and the wording design studio is in Maven Pro. :)
Thanks @Shannon Hatch

So the other ones were... "Too cute" ha
Continued exploration. Please tell me if something like this has been done. I admit it's not crazy original so my brain may have seen it somewhere ha.
