The curl inside the right tail is an improvement, as is removing the protruding pink part. Definitely makes it more recognizable as an 'E'. I think the right tail should remain as thick as the original pink tail, as though it were a heavy-handed brushstroke around the curve... Just some thoughts!

Messed with the curves a bit with some guidance from Louie, not sure I'm completely happy yet. Pink shape is the original ampersand, purple is mine.

I was thinking that, too. I got rid of some unnecessary points around that curve so now it looks thinner.

I believe I've reached the final E shape that I'm going with, it has slightly thicker curves on the bottom-right part.
I may mess with the shininess of the stamp, though. It looks more like plastic to me than wax, which is what it's supposed to be.
