*** I fixed ai file and coffee_big.jpg preview — seems that I hid some objects by accident (some reflexes and details)***
Hi everybody, I've finished a freebee recently — a coffee cup with foam included!
The goal was to approach photorealistic look (adding a bit of blur to objects) using only vector tools. Look at the bigger version.
I've attached a source *.ai file to make the process and techniques clear. For this illustration I've created a noisy vector texture that makes everything look less glossy and natural. Feel free to use this texture in your projects.

It's beautiful, thanks for sharing it!
That .ai file is insane man! Really have to find a way to improve my Illustrator skills like that :p.
@Dominique Torfs you're welcome! Glad you found it useful)
@Wladyslaw Fedorov I have a question crossing my mind: did you make this illustration based on an image ?
Crikey. This is epic.
Love the bubbles
@Bilal Khettab it came from vector sketch, then a lot of references, some of them shown in the file, and basic by-eye perspective.
This just blasted my mind.
Good work! very realistic, are you interested to make a tutorial for this items?
@DesignModo (Adrian) Not at this time, but my next freebee will include tutorial
Fantastic work and a worthy subject :)
@Wladyslaw Fedorov if you are interested to publish on designmodo, let me know. :)
@DesignModo (Adrian) okey-dokey)
That file crushes my MBP, curious to see how my PC handles it.
Dribbble makes me feel like I should have been born in Russia.
@Noe Perez it's very strange — I've tested it on mbp, but it runs ok, try to use cs6 if not already.
