Here's the start to my project of branding the UK canals.
Only about 180 left to go!

WOW ... Awesome texture treatment ... how do you made that? Overall great piece of design, mate :)
Wish I knew you were working on this - there was a big public event by British Waterways at The Bond the other day...
Cheers @Peter Voth I'm pretty sure i used the photoshop brushes from one of the function packs!
@Nathan Monk Ahh typical, that would've been good!
@Brandon Charles Thanks mate.
Looks really awesome. You always use great texture and that ampersand is badass!
Are you taking on the 10,000 Lakes Project?
That's what inspired me @Chris Biron, same concept but at a much smaller scale! Thanks mate!
Loving the Aire & Calder font. Matches very well with the overall look and background image.

@Nathan Monk @Chris Biron @Matt Richardson
I would like to invite everyone to get involved with my canals project!
Hopefully some of you would like to contribute to this!
If you haven't seen any of my other shots, i'm basically branding the canals in England. ( You don't have to be from England to contribute! ) Just remember that these babies are old, so the logo should portray this!
What do i need from you?
1. Choose a canal from the list below.
2. Design a logo for it. ( old style, single colour )
3. Rebound the said logo to this shot. (show it how you like!)
4. Email me a vector. ( email@example.com )
You can find the list of canals here.
Obviously you will be credited, which i will sort out when they are all completed and i produce some sort of online archive.
I look forward to seeing your contributions!

@Olly Sorsby Hey Olly, would love to. Not going to be able to round to it until the new year though - that gonna be too late?
