Bin gespannt was der Kunde sagt :)
Meine Deutsch ist nicht so gut... but I think that this is a magazine for young Christians. I hope I'm not way off. I like the background pattern, subtle use of the Star of David, and I assume that's where you get the hexagon shape too. Why use the same photo though? You could add more variety with another pose, especially if one was a wide shot and the other a close up. There could also be some greater lighting effects, it's a little washed out. Maybe your going for a very soft look. I wouldn't go as far as chiaroscuro lighting, that would be too much. Some Christian kunstwerk has Jesus in blue robes, your model has a blue hoodie, that's a nice touch. Sehr gut, mach weiter so! http://bit.ly/S44dvm
Followed some links and used Google translate,
good to know after almost 20 years out of college, I can at least read a bit of German.
@Bryan Kearney thanks for your detailed opinion on my piece ... will think about it!! I absolutely understand your opinion on the colors, but I especially like the pale colors of the photo :) ... but I have to say that the pattern and the hexagon wasn't inspired by the star of david ... I just love geometric shapes ... they don't have (like the blue hoodie) a deeper meaning! But I'm very thankful for your helpful eye and suggestions. Will work on it!
@Bryan Kearney your german is better than my english ... I guess :)
very nice !
@Pierre Georges thanks :)
