After many rounds of sketches, I started concept phase for this new project.
Some of you guys have given me some valuable feedback - much appreciated!

The space between the icons under the thumbnail seems very compact compared to the generous amount of margin you give the icons/tabs on the left and up above in the nav bar. Considering the amount of functions you are attributing to each thumbnail, I would make the thumbnails rectangle and not square (larger in width) to allow more margin between the icons. Plus you normally depart the conventions of iOS standards so why use a standard notification format (ie. red circle / white contour)? In any case, that aqua / turquoise + dark blue is delicious. You have a knack for colors.
@Sarah W. Rose Thank you so much for the feedback! Initially, the thumbnail view is a search result and the icons underneath are not clickable yet, the user must click to view a larger shot and the icons then will be clickable. Great observation on the iOS counter, this is the first mockup and that was in question as well. Trying to sort that out with developer and client.
Thanks! I love color harmony and composition.
look great !
@Pierre Georges thank you!
