Much better than the original. I think it's more a personal taste thing, but I am not keen on the use of gradients in identity. Have you considered using solids?
Agree with @Seth Jenks. Although it does look nice, it's not making any sense to me. Is the box moving to the bottom right? If so, why? Is is scooping files ups? Did it tumble over to spill/share files? I don't understand the thought process behind it.

Lack of symmetry in the Dropbox logo always bothers me, so I though I'd give it a shot :)

Looks pretty neat. Can we see a non-blurry shot?

wouldn't function very well as a box :/ but looks pretty :)

It is indeed really pretty, but it doesn't look like a box, imo.

@Nick Kutateli Nice work, but I don’t get the “lack of symmetry” comment—the existing Dropbox logo is perfectly symmetrical.

Like this a lot nice work

very nice. Just one thing - I'd mirror it on the x-axis, so that it appears to go "up" visually / psychologically.

I don't like it as much. It doesn't make as much sense to me as the existing one. Maybe someone needs to explain something to me...

i don't get it either!? This is more asymmetric than the Dropbox original logo... which is symmetric in my mind

ya. definitely am on the same side of the fence as those who do not see any symmetry in this and complete symmetry in the current dropbox logo???
