Heyo, Dribbble!
I found myself really wanting to create a neat looking, minimalistic, app of some sort, and I couldn't find any clock apps that I'd want to have on my desk, so I tried making one.
Unfortunately, I'm no iOS coder, so If anyone skilled enough and trustworthy would like to work with me on this, it would be awesome! The app would mostly consist of the clock and an alarm feature packed with nice gestures and sweet looking colors, and perhaps more features in the future.
:)
[EDIT] Thanks for the overwhelming interest in coding this, now it will definitely become something. That's really exciting :D
Thanks a lot!
@Jenny Shen that could be a possibility, yes, having themes and custom colors as well!
@Eric Benjamin right now the colors aren't, but that would be a nice feature as well. For example, when the alarm is close to ringing, the scheme would be red or something. And of course I won't use the fold, I left it there for fun ;)
Thanks a lot, you guys, I really appreciate it!
@Victor Erixon read the description again ;)
@ooyor@Michael Orcutt that's awesome, thanks a lot! I'm currently communicating with another coder, but good thing I have backup if something happens!
@Dave Hornsby nice, I'll check it out!
@Ryan Murphy hah, that's cool!
Definitely a great looking app, following my favorite quote: Less is better :)
Don't mind for asking but what is the real functional purpose of this app? Am I supposed to download it, open it, leave the phone on my desk and just look at it?
Alarm and other functions come by default in iOS and I don't think anyone needs something more of what's already on board which leads me to think that this app's only purpose is just to look good on the phone when of course I'm leaving it on my desk while I'm probably doing something else.
What I'm trying to say is that I think we should focus more on useful and functional ideas and then on aesthetics. This way every app on the AppStore could bring some added value to users and it won't be just another beautiful app in the stack.

Here's examples of different screens and color schemes. And there's also a nasty "fold to reveal settings" screen there hah.

Looks great! It would be cool if it lets you to customize the colors. My favourite backgrounds are blue and black. :)

Nice and simple, but I hope this isn't the start of a new streak of trending apps (weather, to do lists, etc).
Are the colors indicative of anything? or just preference?
Also please don't use the fold to reveal!! it's so stupid trendy here on dribbble and you're much more creative than that!!

I'm a little obsessed with clock apps myself - you might like my most minimal one - http://dribbble.com/shots/350518-MoodClock-Promo

@Jan Vu Nam now that I've got a lot of people wanting to code it, I think I definitely will. I have no idea when, but stay tuned I guess! :)

I really love the visual design that you have done on this app. But why are there two clocks on the same screen ?
