   Instead of 3 creases, how about just one in the center? So overall, the animation looks less complex to the user, instead of overwhelming them.

   This folding animation seems to look better in the static form, that being said, @Nikh has a point, (as it stands) the folds look cluttered, but on the other hand, less folds, when the page is nearly full size would probably create its own (ugly) problems.

   To me, it seems like this interaction would take longer than necessary. Why not try a traditional button that triggers this transition?
