    Current total slide tally for AEA Seattle is at 352. Which hopefully adds to up to ~4 hours. Not sure yet.

    This shot encompasses my least favorite portion of the workshop: essentially just a quick overview of the three new CSS3 layout features currently in development.

    Multi-column makes good sense, despite it's caveats. And hey, it's implemented. But Grid Positioning and Template Layout just make my head hurt. Luckily they're not exactly usable at this stage, nor progressively enhanceable.

    Dear Boss:

    Can I please attend AEA Seattle so that I can see Coach's presentation on CSS3 layout features? 352 slides of awesome?

    Thanks -

    And that's (one of the main reasons) why I don't speak anymore, practically a full-time job just preparing (for me anyway).

    I was venting on Twitter about this earlier, but custom slide creation on Keynote is so frustrating. Do you layout in Keynote or in Photoshop => Keynote.

    @Chad: Thanks! :)

    @Shaun: It is a full-time job. And the reason I'm creating this one time, and reusing it throughout the year. No one better go to more than one conference :D

    @Judson: Took a while to get the hang of Keynote, but now it's all designed there. Maybe an inital mock in PS, but it's just so fast to create in Keynote once a base style is in place. And you figure out the odd UI.

    Ha! Oh, and I'm not saying it'll be any good. Just that there'll be a hell of a lot of slides.

    I tend to average one slide per minute when presenting - I think the last big workshop I did was round 650 slides. It's madness.

    Will we have to wait until the end of 2010 to have a version of this over at http://noteandpoint.com? Please say no.
