Icon for an app some friends of mine are building.
I very much like everything about this.
i just think of willy wonka
Nice work! The shape and color being quite unusual, it will probably stand out on the springboard.
I'm just wondering how it would look like without the gloss. Assuming that you probably wondered the same question before, I'm guessing that it looks better with! :-)
I want a piece of this fudge.
I just licked my screen.
I like this. What's the app about? :)
Reminds me of a finger print.
It looks like candy :) i want to eat it
Thanks for sharing!
Nice man. Really captures the name in a simple iconic way.
Cool one! @Tim Van Damme
I haven't seen fudge like that before (reminds me of a candy cane more) but regardless, it looks great Tim.
What the fudge is fudge? ;)
Suddenly have a craving for laffy taffy... Thanks @Tim Van Damme love the colors & subtle texture
typeface is rather bland compared to the icon — or does it have to be a standard typeface?
@Joe Nicklo Unless thats previewing it to the iOS screen?
@Loris Grillet original design had no gloss. It looked good, but a bit boring. The gloss definitely makes it shine/pop more.
@Joe Nicklo the typeface is supposed to be like you'd see it on your homescreen :)
Sharp. Like the simplicity of the concept but detail in the execution. Will be memorable and recognizable very quickly.
That bottom right corner is bugging me though. Would there be a way to… say… 'fudge' the size/position so make the 4 corners have a more equal amount of the lighter purple? Might not be... just a thought.
@Matt Kump?? I've fought and fought and fought with those corners until I was fighting them in my dreams.
Weird… I fight raptors in mine.
Dig it, bro.
