Nice, I would try it without that black line on the knob showing the actual position since the user will get feedback of absolute temperature value anyway.

@Johan Jonsson — but then it might look like you can turn it more than 300°. The line correspond to the lines at the beginning and end of the scale and makes it more clear. Not like a dimmer etc.

@Daniel Bruce The small lines was so subtle I didn't actually notice them first. End of blue and red also shows the limits of the scale, but ok.
