Rejected Empty State

This was an empty state our team rejected in the process of improving our placeholder UI for first-time-users. We wanted something soft, so it wouldn't distract from the floating action button in the bottom right (not pictured). Going back to it, I might straighten out the "+ New" part and space out the composition a bit more.

This illy was canceled because our marketing team is focused more on images at the moment. Still, this was a quick, valuable step in the right direction.
