The differences in weight of the letters is sweet. It all works very well.

Though the design is original, the whole concept is based around my grandfathers time in the service. He was stationed with the 7th Army in Berlin 1961-1965.

Right on, are you distressing the type on the computer or off? I dig that it's for your grandpa! Couple of tweaky things before you print it up, apostrophe should go before 'EM and after ROLLIN'

Both actually. I set it all as one font/weight then print out and draw some strokes around random letters then scan back in and blur/sharpen the heck out it.

Ha. I totally overlooked the apostrophe error. Definitely starred at this one for too long.

This is great man. W/out too much cheese, I instantly dug this. both my grandfather's were in the service and both at Pearl Harbor actually when it was attacked. I'd love to snag one of these.
