Some t-shirt designs for a band called Twelve24. I don't think they're quite there yet, but I'd love to get your thoughts! See the full size attachment for a better view.
@Jonathan Ogden Nice work! I prefer the ones with the triangles. The one with the greenish circle on the beach picture works also quite well. Not quite sure about the first one...
@Samuel Freeman - haha, thanks! I like them, but there's just some little bits on each that aren't quite right yet. Maybe colours, fonts, layout tweaks or something. That's why I'm dribbbling :)
@Callum Peters - thanks! Yes, they'll all be on white. The style we're going for is big blocky image on a white T, and maybe vests...
@Danilo Bittorf - thanks! I think the circle beach one is my fave, and I agree on the first one. I kinda like they idea but there's something not right about it. Too dark or something.
Yeah maybe it's too dark and a bit fuzzy. I don't like staring at peoples tshirts for a long time to identify what it is/means. The other designs are more clear!
Liking them so far. Do they have to be squared though? Maybe utilise some of the internal shapes? The beach one might look nice in a circle for instance? Just my two-penneth :)
In other news, I think it's the square shape that they're encased in that gets me. Maybe try letting some of the elements break out of it. I think experimenting with other boundaries could be helpful.
I like the two triangle ones the best as far as image goes. I think you should change the pink triangle though, unless they're a band that particularly supports gay pride (symbols are important even if its just a band tee) plus I think a different color might look nicer anyways. I like how the other triangle tee puts 1224 first, because I like my band tees to have the band name first in hierarchy. If I saw some of the other tees walking around, I might think the band is called Hurricane, but many bands choose to promote their album over their band name, so its really up to them. Anyways if you go with the that shirt, there may be a better typeface to find with more interesting numbers that fill the page, like Pompadour.
