College of New Caledonia (CNC) - Library Landing Page

This library landing page was an add-on to an almost completed website overhaul project by the whole Res.im team. The entire website redesign involved months of research and user testing with included interface designs and a design system created by my colleague, the undeniably talented Diana Caballero.

Near the end of the project the client requested the addition of a library landing page to house the colleges library resources, search tool, contact information, chat bot, social feed, and related content like events and news.

The library's existing page was difficult to navigate and was outdated in both aesthetic and functionality. We were tasked with redesigning the page to emphasize the library's "Discovery search", research articles and resources, and other important related links. The UI was built with the design system Diana created as a guide for creating new components and patterns to ensure consistency with the rest of the site redesign.

The new CNC website (library page included) launched last spring.
