   Client wanted a clean, simple monogram utilising his initials M and S. Possibly incorporating a shield. These are the very first sketches.

   You could always try a monogram without forcing a ligature. I think that a little restraint where a natural union cannot be achieved can communicate quite a bit.

8. MS Monogram Final I showed the client this design and with no messing around it was chosen. We are now finalising type (clients name) to compliment the mark.
