Last night I was looking though a box of unused stationary belong to my girlfriend.
I found a leather case containing a silver mechanical pencil inside with the name Yard-o-led on the case.
I've researched it and it's a YOL aristocrat mechanical pencil dating around the late 50's early 60's.
I couldn't resist making a quick design using it and this is the result. ( I used my Faber Castell to go over the sketch as it gives a sharper line) It has a really smooth feel and great grip.

I have also attached a picture of the pencil as well as one of the instructions found in the case.

By the way @Claire Coullon managed to finish this in record time and didn't look back at it. These little sketches with a tight deadline are really becoming good practise for knowing when to stop.

Hey Chris, I know we've talked about this since but wanted to reply here anyway. Nicely done for the time (and more-so for not looking back at it obsessively afterwards..!). The swashes on this are especially nice, they flow really well.
