I finally got my business cards printed. I'm happy with my decision going with letterpress. They were printed by the fine folks at Workhorse Printmakers here in Houston. Larger views attached.

yessss! these came out absolutely beautiful, inka. it helps that i already love your 'Gi' ligature mark with the 'G' acting as a spigot to your 'i's tittle, allowing the last droplet of ink to fall. oh, and not to mention the inclusion of your name within your studio name. the edging and blind pattern are also a very nice touch. well done!

@bas @Muhammad Ali Effendy Thank you, guys! Really appreciate it.
@Colin Tierney Thank you, Colin! Also for noticing the little details. Yes, "Ink" was my nick name growing up. Just how my parents called me. My background is print design, so I think it was a serendipity :-)

    Are they extra-wide or not-so-tall?

@Ryan Ford They are not-so-tall :-) 3.5 x 1.75. Just to give that bit of uniqueness with the size too.

Fab biz card, Inka! Really loving the simplicity of this. This reminds me that my card is really outdated, gotta start creating a new set. :)

Everything about this says classy and high-end. The loose tracking complements the minimalism nicely.

Great cards mate! Its amazing what you can achieve with just one color. The edge painting and the blind emboss added a whole lot more!

@Ema Hoffmann | Limeshot| Limeshot Thank you, Ema! It's probably different for each printer and each piece. For this one (colors: 2/1), it took 2 weeks from digital proof approval, cost $680 for 500 cards.

Thanks Inka - they're about on par with my local printer then, only with a much faster turnaround. Last time I did my cards it took my printer 2 months to print them! Too busy with wedding stationery it seems.
