I first thought about to add a keypad to phonetrait 2.0, to make phonetrait a fully working replacement for the built-in phone app

phonetrait (App Store) is a sort of an advanced speed dial, which shows you the contact of your address book in a dynamic order, based on how often/recently you contacted them. phonetrait 2.0 will launch later this fall - subscribe to get notified.
