   Hello! This is my first shot. This is was an early navigation concept for a cloud-based platform before knowing the full requirements. I wanted to show the idea of having a slider arrow thingy as a marker that would glide into position a split second after the user clicked or touched a different section in the global nav. Thanks to @trafnar for the invite!

   This is nice! I'm just not sure about the inner shadow of the notification badge, I would rather make it pop with a drop shadow.

    Thanks, all! @Jonathan Moreira and @Bilal Khettab, yes, I went back and forth on how to treat the notification bit, and I agree with you both; I think it would fit in better if it were raised. For the purposes of exploration, I decided to leave it inset. In future versions, I'll probably explore a better, more pronounced raised look for it so it feels more integrated.

    @Michael Duskus what about trying to integrate the notification number with the "Activity" text, but with blue color... Cuz button above button :! it doesn't seem right.

    Really nice and clean! but as previously stated the inner shadow on the notification badge should be a pop out

    Also

    I recommend making the white body box pop up with a small dropshadow and making the stroke thinner

    But overall nice!
