Ambigram "Survive"

   So this is my first attempt of an ambigram. I already presented it to two people and they let me to know that it's not that good... they simpley could not read it. My opinion: As a piece of art it may be ok, but as a piece of graphic design it's a fail (graphic design should be interpreted fast).

   Nevertheless I wanted to ask all of you:

   So can anybody read it? Any ideas for improvement?
   A small hint: The design is not on accident like this ;)

   I appreciate any serious and constructive criticism! Thanks a lot in advance!

   damn ... not really, but pretty close! what does the design imitate? a heartbeat on a monitor ... maybe this helps you!
