Working through a concept for "price drop" - this is rather remedial and obvious, but a starting point. Any thoughts on conveying a price drop on products using only iconography?

Why not have the arrow go through the $, replacing the line? If you understand what I mean.

@Juan, thanks for the suggestion, I like :)
The only challenge would be localization, which I'll have to account for - my initial thought is to replace the $ with the appropriate symbol based on country/locale, but I'm not sure if that will fly in all cases.

Yeah that's unfortunate that it might not work for everything.. but its worth a try! And if anything the dollar sign is known around the world so it could just be universal.
