OM | AUM

Om! this syllable is the whole world.
- Mandukya Upanishad

The sound of OM is powerful to generate change in one's mind because it is the only combination of two letters that at the same time indicates opening and closing the mouth. It is an impossible act made possible by only these two letters.

This is illustrated using the description of the three letters of OM which are A + U + M:
- The A and the U illustrate the open mouth when one says O
- The horizontal line illustrates the closed mouth when one says M
- The space between the letters is the silence generated at the end of OM

In these four elements (A, U, M, silence), three letters, two sounds, and one act is the structure of anything in the universe explained, as it is explained in the Mandukya Upanishad.
