I should probably give some context to all non-Brightonians. Brighton has 2 huge piers that are famous. Unfortunately, back in 2003, for reasons 'unknown' the West Pier (as per shot above) burnt down, leaving a dramatic skeleton on the Brighton seafront. It is now a landmark of Brighton, and the council is unfortunately about to erect the 'i360' - a huge tower/vertical pier that will be the tallest structure in the UK.
