I really like this version Dan. I think the simplicity still holds true even with the 3 colors. Nicely done.

I gotta say I like the 2 color. With 2 colors it's a "2 color piece" but with 3 colors it's now a "full color" piece. Maybe it's the fact that each battery is no longer a single color? If it was all black, all red, all green it might bring it back to a "3 color piece" feel.

Still a great piece though, definitely a nice print to have on the office wall.

I think it loses something from the additional color. To me it starts to read as a flag. That said, the association with pizza and pasta probably won't hurt sales any :)

Really appreciate the feedback, folks. The cost of two colors vs. three might sway me to the former. But going to let it sit a bit.

Also, 12 hexa color, die cut, foil stamp, uv spot, with deboss would not do this gem justice.

I'm torn between the 3 color version here and the 2 color version before it. 3 colors seems to bring it to life a bit more, but I get confused by the charged battery being green and the top battery (full) being black. Why are they both full and yet different colors? Just because of the charge?
I wonder if the top battery needs to be at less than full capacity, or have you tried that look already? It just feels like the top and bottom batteries are too similar in black, and contradict each other with color.
Just my 2 cents. All that said, I love the simplicity of the entire thing, and I'd buy one.

I think Patrick just put into words what I was thinking. As much as I love the full color, the green charging vs. black charged seems to distract. Two color gets my vote.

I really love the other one for its simple symbolism - it really speaks to my frequent need for recharging! The green here takes away from the strength of that, giving me too much to think about when I really just need a cup of coffee (maybe it could be a cup instead of a battery? - no, just thinking aloud). :)
I definitely like the red only on the inside of the battery too. Maybe change the order a bit so the empty battery is on the bottom? Might solve something for Patrick + Jesse.

I like the 2-color version, but I do like the second battery with the black outline here. All great, of course, but 2-color wins here.
