I’ve always wanted a way to be able to use a couple more words to explain or tell certain things. I think I found the right solution now. I've made a quick little blog for that, check it out! http://blog.thom.im
looks nice @Thom :) It just adds some unwanted movement when a scroll-bar appears in browser window just when your logo slides down. Can't say how you can solve that problem but if you do, Its going to work awesome. like it!
@Ryan Townsend why did you break it!? haha. lol. the animation is now triggered when the dom is ready. since there aren't that much images, this is a great solution I think. Thanks a lot. ;)
@Manu totally agree with that. lol. though, maybe I'll need some more options in the future. Tumblr is for a very specific target-audience (short quick posts) you know. ;)

Looking slick Thom! Only thing that bothers me a bit is the huge white outline on the logo

You shouldn't have the animation trigger on page load - when some scripts/external assets hang, you get stuck with the greyed out post.
Why not trigger it on DOM load instead, since your CSS is in the HTML head, there shouldn't be any issue.
Just looks like this for me: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/106079/thom-broken.png

Very nice, when I open the search feature it activates the scroll which gives me a jaggerd transition

Very nice. Apart from everyone else said about the animations, I have no issues.
