Does it look too old for today?
Do you think the well designed icon adds popularity to the well done iPhone app?
It's hard not to believe, as the icon is the first thing that you see in iTunes.
The icon I done for the Spyglass back in early 2010 does it - the most popular compass and augmented relality navigation app for iPhone and iPad for over 3 years.
I've also done a poster that was published in iPhone Life magazine in the Christmas 2011-2012 edition.
How do you like it?

I like it very much actuallly... the green pops out nicely. I feel like the clouds and data will get lost on the actual iphone app once reduced...
Looks great sir!

We were arguing about it, yet, at the end, decided to leave the clouds on the retina small icon - and the clouds aren't lost as we expected from the beginning:
I really like the poster. Having it like the person is coming out of the bush was a nice touch.
It seems to me that the icon is still relevant, as it is available informs the meaning of the application and the compass read well even in small amounts. The main purpose of the icons in the end, to inform people.
just awesome and awesome!
Looks very nice!
This icon stil rocks, mate!
Lovely icon, mate!
Brilliant icon. Good poster, that explains almost everything about the app (from where I stand) and the UI is fantastic.
