50th Birthday Crossword Puzzle Poster

Jenny loves crossword puzzles. When she turned 50, her husband asked me to design an 18"x24" crossword puzzle poster (with an accompaniment of the answers filled in).

The final design is based on the style of the Sonny & Cher-themed invitation (that I did not design), and features the same font, colors and graphic flowers.

It was a pleasure to have the technical challenge of building a crossword puzzle in Illustrator, then putting it together with the whimsical, funky style of 1969.
