Sweet lighting down through the middle on the 'off' - the light bleed - and the shadow above the 3!
Bugging me a little, if I may, is that the knob itself seems a little flat - like there's only the indent around the edge but both are the same height. Possibly due to the shadow weight being the same above the 3 as it is under the knob itself which gives it the same depth?
More of this particular style and lighting to come? Love it overall. Edit: meant to also say this is all really inspiring stuff.
@Jackson Howell Thanks for your feedback. The knob supposed to be flat. More in a style of a volume control (something like this more/less - http://www.shutterstock.com/pic-69164674/stock-vector-vector-realistic-volume-knob.html). This one was only for practice but I might use it in a future and make more items in the same style.
vovv. nice work.
@Piotr Kwiatkowski ah yeah, I see what you mean. Not thinking the surface itself is too flat but the distance it's raised from the background. That there has the 3D angle advantage. :)
@Jackson Howell Thats actually what I meant. I didn't wanted it to be raised from the background too much. Just a bit, like the one on the example. Thanks for your feedback.
damn fine work sir
Looking sweet as hell, but I can't imagine the knob being of any use as a digital interface controller. Since you can't grab it around with your fingers (like in real life), the interaction would be much more awkward and imprecise comparing to a slider for instance.
@Piotr Kwiatkowski , i tried to do with pure css :)

Insane lights! I like the using of colors too. It's so delicate and light. Very sexy almost like some knob on cybernetic woman in the future :)
