When I started to work on this I just wanted to check how easy it's to create medal/coin using random portrait photo. Not that easy as I thought :)
Was thinking to use Lighting effects. It produced kinda nice result for coin itself, though it wasn't working with photo.
I ended up using Gradient map + Blending Options to make head. Then another Gradient Map to match colours.
