Here's a Stormtrooper for my appiconwars.com project.
One of the fun challenges with these guys is that the restriction of the rounded squared canvas really limits recognizability. When there's no distinct outer shape, you're missing that silhouette used for easily identifying things - this means you need to convey that familiarity though details, textures and the layout of elements.

Love these icons. Think I prefer this one to the Vader one, seems to pop a bit more. You've done such a good job on these, love 'em!
