You know those "side-projects" that seem to follow every designer around? They lurk in the shadows of weekends and vacations and look at you disapprovingly when you're not spending your free time working on them.
Well, I finally reached a milestone in one of my side-projects and i thought it was about time i shared some of it. Over the past couple of months i've been working on and off on a fun "Star Wars app icon tribute" - the idea is to render characters from Star Wars as iOS app icons.

Great work Michael! For some reason though each time I see it I am seeing more of a reference to Alien vs. Predator than Darth Vader. :( Either way I ordered the Stormtrooper print!
