   I tend to agree with @Ilja Miskov. The menu looks crisp and simple. The reading area is low contrast, which gets hard on the eyes pretty quickly, and everything is sort of in the "middle" of the gray spectrum. What if you tried adding some color and contrast that indicates function and importance a little more in the reading area? Also, what happens if some messages are really long and some are really short?
