My personal preference is that the avatar aligns with the top of the bubble rather than the bottom, this is mostly because if I'm scrolling I like to see the avatar first along with the first line of text for the comment.
Nice progress. I think I'd like to see the "View all replies to this comment (17)" reworked a bit. Maybe moving the count inside (or outside) the top (or bottom) right of the speech bubble, and adding an icon to indicate it's an expandable count of replies, to free up some space. Repeating that blurb over and over after each comment seems redundant.
Nice! Agree with Murat, the avatar should align to the top of the speech bubble so it's always next to the name of the user.
It looks like the "17 replies" link is referring to nested comments to an original comment. I've never understood the purpose of this. Seems like everything should point back to the original piece of content, comments exist – but nobody tracks side discussions. Just sort all comments chronologically and keep things simple.

Thoughts on comments as speech-bubbles? Trying to encourage conversation.

If there's a long comment for example etc
and maybe rounded corners for the avatar?
Looks great though! BUCKETED

@Murat Mutlu @Ryan Fernandez Hmm, I'll take a look at avatar on top. Thanks for feedback.
@Christian Boyle Nice idea! Agree that element needs some finesse, thanks for feedback.
