Was having problems making a three-column layout work for several reasons. So when I went back to polish the page, I decided to explore a two-column approach with a wide secondary column for displaying the abundance of status data that we have.
The golden spiral proved perfect for making the design work. The overall layout is now simpler and feels exponentially better.
James - Unfortunately, not soon enough. We're focused on the API for the next couple of weeks. There won't be a big overnight splashy launch. Instead, we're going to begin implementing some of the new functionality over time. Our goal is to have phased everything in within 6 months, but that might be aggressive.
I'm hoping to begin implementing some of the functionality from the new design in the coming weeks, but the aesthetics won't start showing up for some time still. Lots of work left to do.

Inherent beauty, simplicity and multi-dimensional symmetry. That's my idea of excellent design! Thanks for sharing that & awesome work, Garrett! :)
