Last night, we hosted our first ever summer party and launched Pinterest for iPad and Android, as well as a revamped iPhone app! You can see more details on our brand-new blog and download the apps at apps.pinterest.com.
All of our seven-person design team contributed heavily to make these apps the best they could be, and we have an incredible team of engineers supporting us. If you're a great designer looking for an awesome team, get in touch with me!
Also, we'd love to hear what you think about the apps! Let us know in the comments below.
I agree with @Dutch Icon. The spacing between the magnifying glass and handle is a bit weird. It stands out too much, therefore drawing my attention away from everything else. The lion icon though is so baller.
Great job! I'm just now trying it out on my Android. And will hopefully play around with the iPad/iPhone version in the near future. :)
Noted! I will be the first to admit that these icons need another pass, glad you like my lion =) It was a penguin for a while but needed something more... aggressive.
Tested the Android Tablet version yesterday and the look and feel was really good.
One small tip would be to increase the click-able space for the follow/unfollow button on the list screen to around the same height of the of the list that the button is contained, reason why is because when I was checking the followers I had, if I tried to follow someone using the button and missed to press in the center by a small millimeter I went inside their profiles.

I really like the globe icon!
Perhaps a little too much space between the cirkel and bar of the search icon.

Other than that small thing, feels very solid.

My wife has tears of joy for the new iPad app. The 3rd party apps were lacking.
