Managed to get my new homepage concept for my portfolio finished tonight (well hopefully).

Take a look at the attachment for real pixels.

    All critique welcome..

Nice work! Love the infographic thingy. Maybe make the nav text a little darker... maybe : )

Thanks @Hugo Loning, yeah that's one of the things I have been tinkering with still. The infographic is actually from my current portfolio, I'm going to give that a little re-vamp once the site is coded up.

@Alan Horne I think it needs more depth, some subtle dropshadows/bevels. All looks a little flat. I can understand if you're going for that style, but I think you should maybe brighten up the colours if so.

Also, i'm not sure you entirely need the "How it works" section. All it does is confuse my eyes and portray you're more of a "team" as apposed to an individual. Perhaps more about you is needed! :)

    PS- Hope this helps :o)

Hey Alan! nice work, just a thought.
You decided to introduce yourself by name and profession "Alan Horne Web Design" in the header (logo section) but immediately underneath you are saying "I'm a Web and User Interface Designer" which seems sort of redundant. I would suggest to leave for the header (logo section) only "Alan Horne" or at least give the name and the profession a different type treatment because your name is getting mixed with what follows =)
    Hope to be helpful!

Love how clean this is, especially that footer. Will you have a few projects featured in that top block? Look forward to seeing this in action

@Mark James Yeah that area will be a slider, got 3/4/5 features to go in there.

Nice work, I just feel like the "What I'm Working On" looks a little bit blurry around the edges.

Nice! The only thing is that 'back to top' link at the bottom doesn't seem to be aligned all the way to the right.
