I decided to have a little fun with this next design and show off the Kareer.me company profile in an unique way. I'm using an isometric grid to create a faux 3D look. I also added dimension to some of the elements and floated them above the background to create some depth. Check out the attachment for a full view!

    What do you think?

Personally I'm not a fan of this kind of view, i've noticed FI have started to show projects like this.

If your showing the levels of UI like http://harmattan-dev.nokia.com/docs/ux/images/core_ui_framework/pages/overal_ui_model-thumb.jpg then it makes sense.

Just show the way it's designed to be seen, in my opinion.

  7. Here's an alternate crop of the isometric profile view. Check out the attachment for actual pixels.

Let me know what you think! Would this be an interesting visual for a product walkthrough possibly within a video?

@Leigh Hibell Thanks for the honest feedback. The Nokia link is a good reference.

    Love the concept @Gabe Abadilla.

I'm just having trouble with isometric layout - have you played around with a more natural perceptive (i.e moving the bottom corner down more)?

Love the look of it, but the perspective seems to be off.

@3magine I agree. The design is isometrically accurate but in this context it feels slightly off.
