Working on an icon for a client project, this being the first iteration. It's a combination of photos and relevant passages from the bible to work in tandem with the photo...pretty cool actually!

I thin the icon might be a little busy at the moment, and I might need to strip some stuff back, but it's all created by hand...and the photos are my own :)

Anyway, let's have your thoughts/feedback and I'll see where I can make it better.

Pixels are included for a close-up

    Thanks.

Looks cool, man! Love the paper verse! I think it might look more correct (perspective wise) if the bottom of the icon wasn't so deep. Just a thought.

I like it. Would have to agree with @Jack on the perspective though. Might want to lengthen the white and checker piece's corner also to help that. Love those purples though.

Agree w/ @jack re: perspective. Worried that you'll lose the text at a small size tho - maybe bigger text and one photo?

I like the direction and I agree with @Jack and @Philip on perspective. Also - the bottom edge seems to be too dark to me.

    Good start anyway @Mike!

  8. Ok, so this is the second and final iteration of my client's icon project. As you can see we ended up going in a totally different direction, but I'm really happy with it as a finished icon.

Everything has been created in Photoshop. Thoughts are always welcome guys. Thanks
